In House Studio

Our studio consist of 4 rooms. 2 of which are used as lesson rooms but work well for splitting 4 people up in separate rooms and recording all at once. The control room and drum/vocal/guitar room are both clothed with auralex foam. There is plenty of room to set up drums in the main tracking room. The other two rooms are used mainly for guitar, keyboardist, and vocals if you decide to record all at once. The control room is used mainly for mixing, mastering, and bassist. The selling point for most people is that the studio smells very good. This is what makes your music so creative.

I use a an sm57 on most guitar cabs. I use a Shure Ksm127 and a Groove Tubes GT57 Condenser on vocals and overheads. I use a Shure Beta 52 on Kick drums and Sm57 on the rest of the tom toms. On bass I go direct in.

I use Sonar 7 with Waves platinum bundle. I have a huge arsenal of software compressors and equalizers. Most of all the audio is mixed and mastered through the Sonar console. I also sample and program through Reason 4.0 and BFD 2.

I record into a Universal Audio Solo 610 pre-amp. From there it flows into either the M-audio Project Mix or the Pre-sonus Digimax 8. From there it goes into Sonar 7.
